Parish of Santiago Apostol
The historic center of Iznájar is known as Barrio de La Villa and brings together a good
part of the town's history.

The temple, which is accessed through an arch,
is located in the highest part of the enclosure of the medieval town.
It is a Renaissance construction that is surprising for its large size,
built between 1547 and 1638.
Although, between 2005 and 2008,
an extensive restoration of both its exterior and interior was carried out. Thanks to this,
today you can enjoy original frescoes from the 17th century,
located on the sides near the altar.
